Cartflows is a great option for running lead funnels, sales funnels, and serving up all sorts of marketing pages to sell your products and services through Woocommerce.
I love Cartflows.
What I don’t love is how long it took me to figure out how to remove the /step/ text from the slug in Cartflows funnel pages. It was seriously driving me crazy. I looked all over their website, navigated through the Facebook Group, and searched Reddit and couldn’t find anything that worked.
So I reached out to Cartflows support and they provided the solution. It’s simple, but not straightforward. I don’t know why this information was not on their website, but luckily for you, it is here and I’ve made it really easy to understand.

Steps for Removing STEP from Cartflows URL
If you’d prefer not to watch the video, here are the steps you’ll need to follow.
STEP 1: Log in to WordPress
STEP 2: Go to Cartflows Settings
STEP 3: Click the Global Settings
STEP 4: Select Permalinks from the settings
STEP 5: In the section Post Type Permalink Base
- Update Step Base to cartflows_step
- Update Funnel Base to cartflows_flow
STEP 6: Click Save Settings
STEP 7: Refresh your page
As long as your WordPress site permalinks are set to Post Name this will ensure that the /step/ is removed from the URL slug and defaults straight to the page URL.
