Learn from the successes and failures of other entrepreneurs
As a small business owner I know that the greatest source of learning and education available to me is the examples of other entrepreneurs. By witnessing and studying the success and failures of others we have the opportunity to do better for ourselves.
This section of my website is dedicated to providing anyone who is interested access to my successes and failures as a business owner. I hope that through my experiences you can do better for yourself no matter what stage of the game you’re in!
Periscope is an online streaming network that turns any smart phone into a worldwide broadcast studio. Entrepreneurs from across the globe have flocked to Periscope to share business building advice directly with you and it offers folks just like you and me the opportunity to do the same.
If you were to follow me on Periscope you would find each broadcast is meant for you, the entrepreneur. Many of us get stuck asking questions of our website and social presence like, “What should my website colors be? Should my social icons be round or square? What should I post on Facebook?” Through Periscope I encourage and equip entrepreneurs to continue to build the dream, fight through the adversity and build a network of others who they can lean on for encouragement and equipping.
How awesome is it hearing from other entrepreneurs what is working and what they are changing up? In leu of an entrepreneurial manual, #dactalk is my effort to catalog the experiences of entrepreneurs just like you.
Each episode of this podcast for entrepreneurs is an informal conversation about what our individual businesses have looked like in the past weeks and a behind the scenes look at how we approach doing business regarding the given topic.
The best way I would describe #dactalk (Dave and Community Talk) is you get to be a fly on the wall for 60 minutes to listen and learn whatever you can from what real entrepreneurs are doing.
You wouldn’t expect it but Twitter is PACKED FULL of people who will root you on during your entrepreneurial journey. Twitter users will encourage you and be anxious to hear about each day in your journey. They will be eager to celebrate wins with you. Through Twitter, I have found an extended family of fellow dreamers and I believe you have a tribe who is waiting right now for you to find them.
In this free three-part video series you will learn the very basics of Twitter in order to begin to find your community of entrepreneurs, dreamers, builders and cheerleaders who will welcome you with open arms and remind you every day that, “you’ve got this!”
